PMW-EX3 Camcorder
Sony has expanded it's range of XDCAM EX cameras with the new EX3. The
EX3 follows the release of the SONY PMW-EX1 which is rapidly becoming
the video camcorder of choice for small to medium video production
companies and producers.
he EX series feature Sony's new XDCAM EX technology which is a
derivative, and more affordable version of the famous XDCAM format which
provides users with unprecedented picture quality and resolution at this
price point.
The EX cameras carry the
legendary CineALta 24P brand which enables the user to produce
incredibly realistic filmic images.
The SOny EX format is a tapless format that records directly to SxS
memory cards. The camera can accommodate two 16GB cards at once, to
provide 140 minutes of HD footage.
The EX3 has an
interchangeable lens, and can accommodate any 1/2 inch lens via the use
of an adaptor.
