We have a great deal of experience with conference Audio Visual design and event coverage. For many years, Paul, our MD, acted as AV Production Manager for The Oldham College Prize Night and Higher Education Awards ceremonies. These events catered for up to 600 people and required a great deal of technical input. The AV support and video production for the events consisted of three large rear projection screens where images were fed by three 3000 lumen projectors.

As there was a need for any live video production, motion graphics/PowerPoint design, or sign language support to be projected onto any screen at any time, each projector needed to be served by a separate vision mixer. The production gallery and stage area consisted of three vision mixers, four digital video cameras, and two computers to provide the graphics, video and effects for the show. With the gallery being situated some 70 metres from the stage, this required substantial planning and co-ordination. Video production from the four cameras was also recorded to produce a DVD record of the event.
